Kyonara Plating Warranty

Every ring in our stainless steel range is covered by a 1 year plating warranty from the date of delivery. If the gold tone or silver tone finish wears through or discolours under normal everyday wear, we replace the ring.

What is covered

  • Plating wearing through, flaking or discolouring under normal daily wear
  • Any product in our stainless steel range — Eternity Band Ring, Everyday Band Ring, Petite Solitaire Ring, Chevron Stone Ring and Double Cross Ring
  • Cover runs for 12 months from the delivery date

What is not covered

  • The Occasion Edit. Our adjustable alloy pieces — Square Halo Ring, Six Claw Solitaire Ring, Leaf Zircon Ring, Chevron Adjustable Ring and Round Solitaire Ring — are made for occasion wear and are not covered by the plating warranty. Their product pages say so clearly.
  • Scratches, dents, bending or breakage from impact
  • Stones loosened or lost through knocks or force
  • Damage from perfume, hairspray, sanitiser, chlorine, seawater, bleach or cleaning products
  • Ordinary wear to the shape of an adjustable shank from repeated resizing
  • Rings altered, resized or repaired by anyone other than Kyonara

How to claim

Email support@kyonara.com with:

  • Your order ID
  • Clear photos of the ring showing the issue
  • A short note on how long you have had it and how it is normally worn

We review claims within 24 to 48 hours. If approved, we ship a replacement of the same ring in the same size at no cost to you. If that ring is out of stock, you can choose another piece of equal value or take store credit.

Keeping the plating good

Plating lasts far longer with a little care. Wipe the ring with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Put perfume, lotion and hairspray on before the ring, not after. Take it off before swimming or using cleaning products. Store it in its Kyonara box rather than loose in a bag.
